Installation steps
Cleaning the installation part: Use a clean fine cloth to wipe the tapered shaft of the encoder and the tapered hole of the installation spindle to remove oil, dust and impurities, etc., to ensure the cleanliness of the taper mating surface.
Installing the encoder body: Insert the tapered shaft of the encoder into the tapered hole of the shaft so that the two are tightly combined, and then use bolts of corresponding specifications (such as M5×50) to connect the encoder to the shaft. The tightening torque is generally 5Nm.
Adjustment and fixing: Gently turn the encoder to check whether it rotates flexibly. If it does not rotate flexibly, check whether the bolts are installed skewed. After confirmation, tighten the tension bolts of the encoder. The tightening torque is generally 0.65Nm.
Installing the encoder short line: Install the encoder short line according to the method shown in the figure. When inserting, be sure to align the pins and insert them step by step. Do not use excessive force to deform the pins, and then install the encoder back cover.
Connecting the encoder long line: Connect the DB15 male head of the encoder long line to the DB15 female head of the short line, and tighten the screws on the DB15 male head of the long line.
