Applicable To Mitsubishi Elevator Leveling Sensor ZPAD01-001 Elevator Photoelectric Switch ZPAD01-002
The ZPAD01-002 leveling switch is a photoelectric switch that operates by detecting the blocking or reflection of light beams by the detected object. It converts the input current into a light signal at the transmitter, typically using an infrared light wave type with a wavelength close to visible light.
When the elevator is running between floors and has not yet reached the baffle position of each floor, the receiver can detect the approximately 1kHz infrared square wave emitted by the transmitter, and the elevator continues to run.
When the elevator approaches the exit and the leveling switch enters the baffle area, the baffle blocks the infrared light, causing the receiver to lose signal. The photoelectric switch then triggers a leveling signal, ensuring the elevator stops accurately at the exit.
Generally, two leveling switches are used: one for deceleration and one for precise positioning.

-
High-Precision Positioning
It accurately detects whether the elevator has reached the leveling position, providing precise leveling control signals to ensure the elevator stops at high accuracy on each floor, enhancing passenger safety and convenience when entering/exiting.
-
High Reliability
Using photoelectric sensing technology, it has fewer mechanical components compared to mechanical switches or other sensing methods. This reduces failure risks caused by mechanical wear and aging, improves equipment stability and reliability, and lowers maintenance costs and frequency.
-
Fast Response Speed
The photoelectric switch enables rapid signal conversion, quickly transmitting signals the moment the elevator reaches the leveling position. This allows the elevator control system to react promptly, achieving fast and smooth leveling stops.
