Structural Composition
- Electromagnetic System: It includes moving and static iron cores, an attraction coil, and a reaction spring. When the attraction coil is energized, a magnetic field is generated, causing the moving iron core to overcome the force of the reaction spring and attract with the static iron core; when the coil is de-energized, the magnetic field disappears, and the moving iron core resets under the action of the reaction spring.
- Contact System: It adopts a double-break bridge contact structure, generally with three pairs of normally open main contacts, which are used to connect and disconnect the main circuit. In addition, it may be equipped with NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) auxiliary contacts, which are used for signal feedback or interlock control of the control circuit.
- Arc Extinguishing System: Large-capacity contactors (above 20A) use slot arc extinguishing covers and arc extinguishing grid plates for arc extinguishing; small-capacity contactors use double-break contacts for arc extinguishing, electric force arc extinguishing, interphase arc plates for arc isolation, and clay arc extinguishing covers for arc extinguishing.

Working Principle: When the electromagnetic coil of the contactor is connected to the rated DC voltage, a magnetic field is generated in the coil. Under the action of electromagnetic attraction, the static iron core overcomes the reaction force of the spring, attracts the moving iron core to the static iron core, and makes the moving and static contacts contact, thereby connecting the main circuit and the control circuit; when the coil is de-energized, the electromagnetic attraction of the static iron core disappears, and the moving iron core resets under the reaction force of the spring, making the moving contacts separate from the static contacts and cutting off the main circuit and the control circuit.
