Real-time monitoring of elevator speed continuously detects the car's ascending and descending speeds to ensure safe operation within the rated speed range.

Overspeed electrical protection: When the elevator speed exceeds 115% of the rated speed, the speed governor immediately triggers an electrical switch, cutting off the elevator control circuit and traction machine power supply, achieving electrical braking.

Mechanical overspeed linkage safety clamp: If the electrical protection fails and the elevator continues to overspeed, the speed governor's mechanical mechanism locks the wire rope, forcibly pulling up the safety clamp to clamp the guide rails, bringing the car to an emergency stop and preventing a fall.

To prevent the elevator car from overshooting the top or bottom, a speed limiter and brake linkage is used to avoid the elevator overshooting during upward travel and overspeeding during downward travel, ensuring passenger safety.

A wire rope breakage/slack protection mechanism automatically triggers the safety circuit to disconnect when the speed governor's wire rope breaks, becomes loose, or slacks, preventing the elevator from starting and avoiding dangerous operation.

Stable, reliable, and with rapid response, the centrifugal triggering structure ensures precise action and fast response. Suitable for passenger elevators, freight elevators, and machine-room-less elevators with rated speeds of 0.25–2.5 m/s, it meets elevator safety standards.
