The output of the square wave incremental encoder is a quadrature AB pulse signal, that is, a high level or a low level. We call the change of the signal from low level to high level as a rising edge. The output of the encoder is a periodic repetition from one rising edge to another rising edge. The resolution of the encoder is in one-to-one correspondence with the engraved lines of the code disc.
