Technical Details
Working Principle
The base station elevator lock switch and floor lock switches are self-resetting rotary switches connected in parallel. When triggered, the hall call panel receives the signal and sends a lock command via the command panel to the main control panel, which then locks the elevator. Unlocking occurs when the switch resets, sending an unlock command to resume normal operation.
Installation
Typically installed in the base station elevator call box, working with the hall call panel and other components. The main control panel is located in the elevator control cabinet, with floor lock switches in each floor's call box.
Parameter Settings
Parameters vary by elevator brand and model. For STEP elevators: F09 sets the lock base station, F18 sets the fire station, and F22 sets the return base station for single and linked elevators.
