Controlling the core operation of the traction machine: Its core control object is the elevator's permanent magnet synchronous traction machine. The traction machine is the power source for the elevator's lifting and lowering. The MG4D-BF contactor receives commands from the elevator control cabinet and connects or disconnects the traction machine's power circuit by engaging or disengaging contacts, thereby controlling the traction machine's start and stop. For example, when the elevator receives a floor call signal, it connects the circuit to start the traction machine; after the elevator reaches the target floor, it disconnects the circuit to stop the traction machine, ensuring precise start and stop of the elevator.

Implementing star-sealing protection function: As a star-sealing contactor, it plays a crucial protective role during elevator braking or fault stop. When the elevator needs to stop urgently, or when the traction machine loses power, this contactor can quickly connect the three-phase windings of the traction machine motor to form a closed circuit (i.e., a star-sealing circuit). This utilizes the electromagnetic damping effect of the motor to generate braking force, slowing down the inertial rotation of the traction machine, allowing the elevator car to decelerate and stop smoothly, preventing the elevator from sliding due to the traction machine's inertia, and improving safety during stopping.

Reduced Operating Noise for a Safer Ride: This contactor features a silent design, which is especially important for elevators. During elevator operation, contactors frequently engage and disengage contacts. Ordinary contactors are prone to generating electromagnetic or arcing noise during operation. The MG4D-BF's silent structure significantly reduces this noise, preventing it from being transmitted into the car and significantly improving passenger comfort, meeting the high requirements for quiet operation in elevators.
