Signal Transmission and Contact Expansion

As an auxiliary contact, it links with main switches such as emergency stop buttons, maintenance switches, and base station lock key switches, synchronously switching between normally open and normally closed states, and feeding back switch action signals (such as "unlocked," "emergency stop activated," "maintenance mode activated") to the elevator control system.

It expands the number of contacts on the main switches to meet the multi-circuit parallel/series requirements of the control system, and is compatible with the control logic and wiring specifications of different brands (such as Schindler 300P).

Safety Circuit Construction and Interlock Protection
It connects to the elevator safety circuit. When the contact is open, the control circuit is cut off, the elevator cannot start or stops immediately, preventing safety accidents caused by misoperation (such as accidental elevator operation during maintenance, or the hall door opening when the base station lock is not unlocked).

It links with components such as door locks, speed governors, and safety brakes to form multiple safety redundancies, complying with safety standards such as ASME A17.1/CSA B44 and GB 7588.

Adaptable to Maintenance/Emergency Stop/Base Station Lock Operations

Maintenance Mode: In conjunction with the maintenance box switch, switches to maintenance speed (typically ≤0.63m/s), while locking normal operation commands, allowing only maintenance personnel to control the elevator via the car top/machine room.

Emergency Stop Function: When triggered, quickly disconnects the main circuit and control circuit, causing the elevator to brake urgently and protecting personnel and equipment.

Base Station Lock Linkage: When the base station lock is unlocked, the LA42 contact closes, allowing the elevator to respond to base station calls, stop, and open the door; when locked, the contact opens, blocking related commands and implementing access control.

Status Feedback and Fault Diagnosis: Contact status can be monitored through the control system, facilitating quick fault location by maintenance personnel (such as contact adhesion or circuit breakage), improving maintenance efficiency.

Some models support LED status indicators, intuitively displaying contact on/off status to assist in on-site debugging and daily inspections.
