Application & Operation
Installed at the top and bottom of elevator hoistways, this limit switch activates when the elevator car reaches its maximum travel limits. The switch triggers to cut off the safety circuit, preventing overtop or bottoming accidents. Featuring a spring return metal plunger design, the switch automatically resets to its initial state after activation, ensuring the elevator can be manually reset following emergency stops.
