Elevator Limit Switch XCKN2149P20C Schneider Travel Limit Micro Switch, Roller Lever Type Mechanical Safety Switch for Elevator Car Top, Landing Door, Over Travel and Mechanical Position Detection, Durable Spare Part for Elevator Maintenance Replacement
The XCKN2149P20C position and travel detection switch is a dedicated mechanical limit switch for elevators. It relies on a roller lever to contact a mechanical structure to accurately detect the car position, the upper and lower limits of the shaft, and the mechanical positioning of the car and landing doors. It transmits on/off signals to the elevator mainboard to determine if the equipment's operating position is normal.
The upper and lower limit safety protection is installed at the top and bottom of the elevator shaft. When the elevator overshoots the top or bottom, exceeding its travel limit, the switch is forcibly triggered, immediately cutting off the safety circuit and forcing the elevator to shut down, preventing serious accidents such as the car hitting the top or bottom of the shaft.
The car and landing door position interlock is used for mechanical positioning detection of the car and landing doors. The elevator is only allowed to start operating after confirming that the doors are fully closed. If the doors are not fully closed, the switch will not activate, and the elevator will be prohibited from moving, preventing injury from an open door.

Mechanical anti-collision and travel limiting devices are compatible with the mechanical structure of escalators and elevators, limiting the range of motion of mechanical components and preventing deformation, jamming, and equipment damage caused by overtravel.
The signal feedback fault warning switch contacts are sensitive and reliable, and will not jam even with long-term frequent operation. If the contacts are faulty or damaged, the system will immediately report the fault, lock the elevator, and remind maintenance personnel to replace the faulty parts in a timely manner to eliminate safety hazards.
