OTIS OVF30 inverter is the inverter equipped in the 300VF control system of the early OTIS elevator. Due to its long service life (at least 10 years), the probability of damage to the ABA26800XU1 (or XU2) board in the inverter is relatively high. I have repaired many inverters. Now I will share with you the faults that are easy to damage and difficult to find. If there are any deficiencies, please point them out.


Fault 1: Power on normally, the inverter main board displays X04A, and the UDX light on this board keeps turning on and off. At the same time, the UDX relay keeps pulling in, and the BRK light is not on.


Fault point: This fault is generally caused by a problem in the IGBT drive signal circuit to the driver board, which is generally caused by the increase in the resistance value of the R118-R124=499 ohm resistor. Replacing the bad resistor can solve the problem.


Fault 2: Power on normally, inverter mainboard displays X04A, start maintenance, the UDX light on this board keeps turning on and off, while the UDX relay keeps pulling in, and the BRK light turns on and off again.


Fault point: This fault is generally caused by the increase in the resistance of the current sampling resistor in the current detection circuit. If the resistance of resistors R146, R149, R152 increases, just replace them.

 

 

Elevator electronic boards, including door machine boards, encoder boards, I/O boards, main control boards, call communication boards and display boards.

 

Commonly used electronic boards for elevators can generally be divided into the following modules:

1. Power supply module, generally including rectifier circuit, voltage stabilization circuit, filter circuit; power supply monitoring circuit;

2. Core processing module, including CPU (or MCU, DSP processor), EEPROM, RAM, address signal decoding circuit, oscillation circuit, reset circuit, watchdog circuit
