Function:
Floor display function: This is one of the most basic functions. Through numbers or indicator lights, the current floor number of the elevator is clearly displayed to passengers, so that passengers can clearly know their location and know whether they have reached the target floor. For example, when the elevator rises or falls, the numbers on the display board will be updated in real time to accurately show the floors the elevator has passed.
Running direction indication function: The display board will intuitively inform passengers of the current running direction of the elevator, whether it is running up or down, through arrows and other signs. This helps passengers prepare in advance, understand the dynamics of the elevator, and easily determine whether it is the direction of the elevator they need to take. For example, an upward arrow means that the elevator is rising, and passengers can decide whether to wait for the elevator based on this information.
Destination floor registration display function: After the passenger presses the destination floor button, the display board will display the registered destination floor information accordingly. In this way, passengers can confirm whether the floor they have selected is correct, and other passengers can also understand the elevator's stop arrangement. For example, when a passenger presses multiple floor buttons, the display board will display these registered floors one by one, so that everyone can know the running path of the elevator.
Fault alarm display function: When an elevator fails, the display board will display the corresponding fault code or warning information to remind passengers to pay attention to safety and inform maintenance personnel of the fault type so that the problem can be quickly located and solved. For example, fault codes such as "E01" may be displayed, and maintenance personnel can perform targeted inspections based on the meaning of the code.
Other information display functions: Some advanced elevator display boards may also display content such as the current load of the elevator, estimated arrival time, advertising information, etc. Displaying the load allows passengers to understand the load of the elevator and avoid overloading; the estimated arrival time allows passengers to arrange waiting time reasonably; advertising information can bring certain economic benefits to the elevator operator.

Installation process:
Confirm the model: According to the brand, model and control system of the elevator, select a display board that matches it to ensure that its functions and interfaces meet the requirements.
Check the parts: Check whether the display board and related accessories are complete, whether there is any damage or deformation, etc. If there is any problem, replace it in time.
Prepare tools: Prepare the tools required for installation, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, electric drills, wire strippers, multimeters, etc.
Determine the installation location
Inside the car: Usually installed on the wall near the car door, the height is generally about 1.5-1.7 meters from the ground, which is convenient for passengers to view. For situations where there are multiple display boards (such as layered displays, advertising displays, etc.), the layout should be reasonably planned to ensure clear display and no interference.
Outside the car: Next to the elevator hall door on each floor, it is generally in the same vertical plane as the hall door lock device, and the height is also in a position that is convenient for passengers to view, usually about 1.5 meters from the ground.
